EXP 3 - Video FlyThrough with moving components and files
My final design revolved around my centrepiece of a long sweeping bridge seemlessly connecting to the main structure. The natural materials and style given to my work was inspired by the New York High Line and its integration with nature. The detailed panelling on some of the walls of the building was inspired by the facade on the new UTS engineering building. Overall, I tried to combine both these concepts together in a way that would represent my own concept for the Computational Design school as the integration between nature and technology in modern society.

Close-up detailed view of intricate wall design and natural public walk space. |
View of leisure area for students hidden inside the building's structure. |
Side view to show comparison between actual facility and the sweeping bridge. |
A view from the top of the building looking down onto the sweeping bridge and natural public space. |
EXP 3 - Concept Design
To build the foundation of our structure we used coloured blocks to indicate where each compulsory room would be located throughout the overall building. This is a top view of the building. |
This is a front view of the building concept. |
We then proceeded to deconstruct a famous piece of architecture and map it to our concept designs. This image is of the top view. |
This image is of the front view. |
Early visualisation of complete structure. |
Detailed development of ideas, including bridge placement and connectivity. |
Quick planning of material, style and texture. |
Final concept theory design including material and texture. |
